A little bit about me...

I've spent the last decade building and growing early-stage startups. I came up through the Toronto tech scene and have worked across just about every function you'll find at an early-stage company; GTM, product, and even full-stack engineering when needed.

A few years ago, I raised angel funding and built an edtech startup from scratch. I hired and led a great team, shipped a complex classroom product, and found our first paying customers.

Since then, I've been through the Antler Founder Residency and worked with a fast-moving, well-funded Silicon Valley startup, helping them scale their sales team, shape their early GTM strategy, and execute fast.

Now, alongside building my next venture, I partner with early-stage founders as a fractional resource, jumping in to help with GTM strategy, hiring, team building, and product execution. If you're at that messy 0-to-1 stage and need extra firepower, I can help.

GTM Strategy & Execution

Clarify Your Message. Nail Your Motion.

I help founders build and execute go-to-market strategies that actually work. From customer discovery to sales process design, I've been in the trenches and know what moves the needle.

I bring a systems thinking approach to GTM, treating your go-to-market as a product to be built, not a playbook to be copied. We'll use a scientific method: forming clear hypotheses, running low-cost experiments, and creating tight learning loops.

Case Study - Fleet (MoveWithFleet.com)

At Fleet, I worked closely with the CEO to help stand up the GTM function. I led sales team management, helped hire the Head of GTM, and ran a series of focused campaigns to test traction across different segments. I also developed creative ICP targeting methods—using tools like Clay.com and custom scrapers—to identify high-probability leads quickly.

Whether it was getting hands-on with sales scripts, experimenting with growth levers, or jumping in to shape key content pieces, I focused on what would actually move the needle at that stage.

Product Strategy

Build the Right Thing, Faster

I help founders prioritize what to build—and what to ignore. That means identifying painkillers, not vitamins. I lean on first-principles thinking, continuous user interviews, and fast experiments to validate whether something is actually needed before it hits the roadmap.

I’ve seen how easy it is to build too much, too soon. So I focus on the intersection of user behavior, business value, and feasibility—using tools like The Mom Test, lightweight MVPs, and qualitative + behavioral feedback to guide product decisions.

Case Study - FamSchool (TryFamSchool.com)

I co-founded and led product on Financy, which evolved into FamSchool—an AI-powered education platform for schools. Over two years, I ran structured validation sprints, shipped multiple MVPs, and pivoted the product from B2C (parents) to B2B (private schools) based on market signals.

We co-developed the product with users, iterated on curriculum, onboarding, and retention, and eventually secured our first paying school customers. From messy MVPs to finding product-market resonance, I stayed focused on building what mattered most—while leading a lean, global team through constant change.

Hiring & Team Building

Build the Right Team, Faster

Early-stage hiring is make-or-break. I help founders get it right by focusing on what actually drives team performance: clarity, speed, and fit. You don’t truly know how someone will perform until they’re in the role, so I treat onboarding and the probation period as extensions of the hiring process. I believe great hiring means planning for some mis-hires—and correcting quickly. I also help founders stretch their budget by hiring internationally, but always within a tight time zone range to preserve velocity. And once someone’s in the door, strong onboarding and clear communication often determine whether they thrive or stall.

Case Study - PublicSquare (PublicSquare.io)

As CEO of PublicSquare, I built a lean, multidisciplinary team that delivered across multiple ventures; FamSchool, KnowYourVote, and other AI-driven tools in public and education sectors. We shipped fast, hired smart, and kept our burn low by building internationally within tight time zones. Our systems for onboarding and collaboration helped new hires ramp quickly and contribute meaningfully. By the end, we had a tight, mission-aligned team capable of taking a product from zero to launch in weeks, not months.
